This reference design demonstrates how to connect an EtherCAT ET1100 Slave Controller to a C2000 Delfino™ MCU. The interface supports both demultiplexed address/data busses for maximum bandwidth and minimum latency, and a serial peripheral interface (SPI) mode for low pin-count EtherCAT communication.
